PPMED is one of the line Directorates of MoFA and it consist of the following divisions:

• Modernizing Agriculture in Ghana (MAG)

FUNCTIONS

• Formulation and analysis of agricultural policies and assessment of impact on both producers and consumers;
• Coordination of sector programs
• Coordination of the preparation of MOFA’s Annual Plan and Budget;
• Facilitating the release of funds to Cost Centers
• Monitoring financial expenditures
• Facilitation of Investment into the agriculture sector
• M&E of agricultural sector programs, projects and expenditures;
• Provision of technical support in project appraisal, mid-term and project completion evaluations of programs and projects under the ministry
• Development and review of sector policies and programs.
• Dissemination of information on the implementation of agricultural sector activities.
